Cox's bazar - The Longest Sea Beach The unbroken 125 km beach at Cox's Bazar is sandy with a gentle slope. Since the rise and fall of the tide here is not great, it is a good place for sea bathing. In addition to the long sea-beach with its silvery waves breaking at the foot of hills and sea-bathing, the attractions of Cox's Bazar include a drive along the beach, the view of the sun setting on the rolling sea-waves, the moonlit night, and the exciting interior of the bazar and its people. |

Sundarban - The Beautiful Forest Situated at the mouth of the great Ganges and Brahmaputra rivers, the world's largest continuous mangrove forest, Sundarban, is shared by India and Bangladesh. The forest covers 10,000 sq kilometers of the delta at the point where it merges with the bay of bengal. About a third of Sundarban Forest area is covered by a complex network of tidal creeks, mudflats and small islands, and the entire forest is subject to tidal inundation. |
